In the second Sprint event of the season Red Bull Racing’s Max Verstappen continued his dominance by winning his fourth consecutive sprint race. In the 19-lap race, Verstappen outplayed McLaren’s Charles Leclerc by more than 2 seconds.
Verstappen teammate Sergio Perez clinched third position with a time gap of +1.874 to Leclerc. Daniel Ricciardo continued to surprise fans as he clinched fourth position while Carlos Sainz finished fifth at the Miami Sprint race.
The day continued to be poor for Mercedes as George Russell and Lewis Hamilton failed to improve their performances. Both finished 14th and 8th respectively. Notably, this is Verstappen’s fourth consecutive sprint race victory after Brazil 2023, US 2023 and China 2024.
Nico Hulkenberg improves his position
Meanwhile, Haas driver Nico Hulkenberg finished seventh ahead of Lewis Hamilton and teammate Yuki Tsunoda. His amazing performance will surely help Haas to earn some points in the constructors table as well as driver’s standings.
