Following the RAW show yesterday night, WWE made a surprising statement regarding Dominik Mysterio. While the ringside for the main event last night, Dirty Dom was not in action for WWE RAW on Netflix. Last night's WWE RAW main event saw Bron Breakker defending his Intercontinental Championship against Finn Balor.
To assist his stablemate, Dominik Mysterio unintentionally knocked Balor over the turnbuckle. After winning the IC Title, Breakker and Penta engaged in a staredown. Last night on RAW, Mysterio posted a picture of himself eyeing the Intercontinental Championship after sharing a flashback of Eddie Guerrero staring at a belt in the past. In a humorous response to the tweet, WWE said that he looked like his father."Like Father. Like Son," wrote the company.

The Judgment Day star's real-life father, Rey Mysterio, once engaged in a fabled custody battle with Guerrero over Dominik Mysterio. Even though Eddie Guerrero lost suddenly tragically in 2005, wrestling fans continue to honor him. In a recent interview, RAW star Dominik Mysterio spoke about going winless at WrestleMania and that he will break the poor run this year.
Dominik Mysterio wants to win WrestleMania
Despite his current 0–3 record at The Show of Shows, the 27-year-old is certain about winning his match this year if he is selected for WrestleMania. For the first time in his career, The Judgment Day member predicted that he would win at 'Mania this year. During an interview, the Judgment Day members said, "Of course. What do you think? I wanna be defeated at WrestleMania? No, I'm what, 0-3 at WrestleMania? So for whatever reason, if I find myself at WrestleMania this year in Las Vegas, it's gonna be 1-3. I promise you that."
Mysterio has never taken home a singles championship on the main roster of the WWE, despite being a previous NXT North American Champion. If he attempts to win the Intercontinental Championship this year, that will be exciting to see.
