The story of the Bloodline happens to be one of the most entertaining ones in the history of WWE. Since their inception, they have carried Smackdown on their shoulders more often than not. While their story has been interesting and rather believable more often than not, there are some instances where their story was rather ironic.
One such instance was in the kickoff event ahead of WrestleMania XL. The Rock was unhappy with the fact that Cody brought his family into the discussion. Rhodes claimed that the high Chief and Sika would be ashamed of Roman Reigns and The final boss. Rock claimed that Rhodes went a bit too far. But the reality wasn't what he claimed.
It was Roman Reigns who first targeted Cody by taking the name of Dusty Rhodes. Later on, The Rock went on to slap Cody which set their feud till WrestleMania. One more instance of their ironic story was that of Solo Sikoa's reasoning for the attack on Jimmy Uso. The new Head of the Table claimed that Jimmy was attacked for losing to Jey Uso at WrestleMania.
But the irony was that Solo was on a losing streak of 38 matches before WrestleMania. In fact, his first win in 2024 came at Backlash 2024 when he beat the duo of Kevin Owens and Randy Orton. Another irony in their story has been with Roman. In one of the episodes, Paul Heyman compared the difference between the old and new Bloodline. Heyman tried to portray Solo and Co to be violent.
The Wiseman claimed that Roman was indeed a negative character but was not the same as the new Bloodline under Solo Sikoa who were monsters. But in reality, the Bloodline under Roman wasn't any different. In the past, Roman did worse with his opponents which is why people loved him as a heel. For instance, Kevin Owens was beaten badly after their match was done at the Royal Rumble 2023.
