On the latest episode of the Red Brand, Roman examined both Cody and Punk's titles and hinted at pursuing them in the near future. In promos backstage, it seemed as if they weren't united at all, but seemed to be a binding force only on a common purpose.

Surely, the alliance is a one-off for the War Games match. After that, there is a likelihood of the OTC going after the world titles, which he hasn't held for nearly two years. Gaining them back seems to be his motive and rightfully so, as he is still the biggest star in the company.

As the WrestleMania season and the buildup for it will approach after the Survivor Series and John Cena's retirement match, the focus will shift towards the Royal Rumble. There's a good chance that the OTC will be a part of it, as it is the best way to earn a shot at the world title.
