WATCH: Tiffany Stratton beats Bayley to achieve maiden successful world title defense on WWE Smackdown

Tiffany Stratton succeeded in her maiden world title defense as she overcame Bayley on WWE Smackdown. The Centre of the Universe pinned the Role Model by delivering an Alabama Slam and the Prettiest Moon Sault ever. Earlier in the night, Nia Jax and Candice LeRae lost to Bianca Belair and Naomi in the tag team match before Charlotte Flair's video package.

Tiffy was set to defend her world title against the Role Model who was the number one contender after winning the Fatal 4-way match against Nia, Noami, and Bianca last week on the blue brand. The match was expected to be great and turned out to be one. Fans were invested in it right from the beginning.

There were some very good spots in the match including Tiffy's Moon Sault, Power Bomb, and unique locks. Bayley brought her big elbow and even went for Rose Plant on numerous occasions. Towards the ending moments of the match, Bayley attempted for a pinfall on numerous instances.

Stratton kicked out at two on every possible instance. She was successful in countering Bayley's Rose Plant into a Cartwheeling Alabama Slam. Bayley was done and Tiffy took advantage of the situation. She delivered the Prettiest Moon Sault ever to claim a win. Fans loved the match and Stratton ended the night as the world champion.

Bayley's Fatal 4-way match saw disturbance from LeRae which led to minor confusions between Bianca and Naomi. Hence, a tag team match was set to take place between LeRae and Nia against Bianca and Naomi. Much like most of the matches on the night, the tag team match was great.

Fans chanted "This is Awesome" and acknowledged how good it turned out to be. In the end, Bianca allowed Naomi to have her moment as the latter claimed a win for her team via pinfall. Just before the title defense of Tiffany, the video package of Charlotte's return was posted which led to the discussions of a Tiffy vs Flair feud.
