Ronda Rousey scripted history at the Beijing Olympics in 2008. The former wrestler became the first ever women's Judoka to win a medal at the Olympics. Before becoming a fighter in the UFC and a wrestler in WWE, Ronda took the world by storm with her success in Judo. As Rousey recently announced her motherhood, her win has been viewed by the fans.
In her campaign in Beijing, Ronda Rousey faced Nasibia Surkieva in the first round. In the 70kg women's category, Rousey beat the Turkmenistan opponent 10-0 without breaking a sweat. She was handed a win due to her superiority in technique. Her following challenge was Katarzyna Pilocik from Poland. The bout turned out to be a great battle of technique.

While the Polish put up a tough fight, the former WWE Superstar forced her to submit. She faced Edith Bosch of the Netherlands in the following match. It was a tough bout between the two. Neither of them gave away anything to their opponents. It took a golden score to decide the winner of the match. In the end, the UFC fighter held on to her own against the Dutch.

Ronda faced Rachida Ouerdane of Algeria in the following round. Right from the word go, Ronda dominated the bout. She forced a submission from her opponent and claimed an impressive win. The Judoka was up against Annet Meszaros of Hungary in the following round. It was yet another superior win for the USA star who beat the Hungarian convincingly.
Her next challenge was Annet Bohm of Germany. Ronda was dominant and beat her opponent 10-1. It was a moment of elation for the young Judoka who scripted history at the age of just 21. Rousey was also successful in the Sport by winning some major titles like the Pan American Games 2007, the World Junior Championships, and a silver medal in the World Championships 2007 in Rio De Janeiro.
