WWE's Monday Night RAW appears to have revealed the first official bout for WrestleMania 41. After winning the 2025 men's Royal Rumble match on Saturday, February 1, Jey Uso was allowed to compete for the championship at WrestleMania. Uso opened Monday Night Raw's 2/10 episode.
When Jey's song ended, the audience started yelling for him to join the celebration. Uso was standing atop the commentary booth as WWE World Heavyweight Champion Gunther swung his legs in his trademark "yeet" motion. Uso was assaulted from behind by Gunther, who repeatedly dropped power bombs on him in the ring while he stood up on the announcer's table.

Jey Uso performed a splash on Gunther and a few security personnel. He would challenge the Ring General whenever possible before the immortals' exhibition. Gunther defended his title in Saturday Night's Main Event against Jey Uso some time ago. That night, Uso did not defeat Gunther for the championship, but he made it apparent that he thought he could defeat him. We will now need to observe his response to this significant opportunity.
Gunther won World Heavyweight title at SummerSlam
When Gunther was leaving up the ramp, a fallen Uso grabbed a microphone and said that Gunther would be his opponent at WrestleMania 41, which would take place in Las Vegas on April 19 and 20. "Me and you at WrestleMania," he said.
At the WWE Saturday Night Main Event on January 25, Uso made an unsuccessful attempt to challenge Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship. He also failed to confront Gunther while the Austrian was the Intercontinental Champion.
Since winning the title at SummerSlam in August against Damian Priest, Gunther has been the World Heavyweight champion. Uso was allowed to face the champion of his choice at WrestleMania 41 after winning the 2025 men's Royal Rumble match.
