Rhea Ripley lost her Women's World Championship while defending it against Iyo Sky on WWE Raw. The match had a controversial ending, and Mami was probably robbed of her title due to the referee's mistake. Despite Bianca Belair's interference, the match did not end in a disqualification. It was a way for the creative team to ensure Rhea was in the match scenario for WrestleMania.

During the ending moments of the match, both Rhea and Sky found themselves in the ringside. The referee started to count ten and wanted the wrestlers to get back in the ring within time. While Rhea entered the ring within the fifth count, Sky was nowhere to be seen near the ring despite the eighth count.

Bianca Belair cheered Iyo on and encouraged her to get back in the ring. As Iyo got inside the ring, Mami was unhappy with Bianca for cheering for Iyo. She confronted Bianca and asked her to stay away from the match. Belair claimed she was in the ringside only to watch their match.

However, Rhea and Bianca shared a push. In turn, Belair pushed Mami back during the sequence. The referee observed everything and only separated the duo from each other. As per the rules, any physical involvement from the third party in a title match leads to disqualification. On that note, Mami should've retained her title.

But the referee allowed the match to continue. Sky took advantage of the situation and won her second world title. Fans took to social media and claimed Rhea was robbed of her title. In reality, she was indeed robbed as the rules were not followed by the referee.

There was a reason the referee did not disqualify the match. It was to give Iyo her moment before WrestleMania, which would put her in the match card. Rhea will now get a valid reason to get in the title scenario. WrestleMania would witness a triple threat match between Iyo, Rhea, and Bianca for the world title.
