Just a year after his debut, the Indian wrestler was a top heel in the company and made a name for himself in a matter of a few months.

The Great Khali's SummerSlam match against Batista

The match between Batista and Khali was good. Both of them exchanged some exciting moves. Khali dominated the match for the most part and came up with some vicious Clothesline, a big foot, and a brain chop. Batista ended up winning the match as Khali intentionally disqualified himself by hitting the former WWE Champion with a steel chair.

As per the rules, a world title can have a change only via pinfall or submissions. Since Batista claimed a victory via disqualification, Khali still retained the title. Batista was frustrated by the time he realized that his win was of no use. Khali had the last laugh as he retained the title despite losing the match. It was a clever strategy from the Indian wrestler to retain the world title.
