Two wrestlers disguised as El Grande Americano and helped the real El Grande Americano beat Dragon Lee on WWE Raw. The two disguised wrestlers ensured AJ Styles did not trouble El Grande Americano. After the match, the three El Grande Americanos looked at each other and pointed fingers, pulling off the popular Spiderman meme.

At AAA Worlds Collide, El Grande Americano pulled referee out and saved the match for Dirty Dom against Vikingo. Dragon and Rey Mysterio tried their best as an equalizer, but El Grande ensured Dominik became the new champion. As a result, a match was set on the 15 September episode of Raw between Lee and El Grande.

For a brief period, he did, as he countered the disguised person.

However, the second disguised El Grande Americano showed up and surprised the Phenomenal One. It helped the 'original' El Grande to beat Lee via pinfall. After the match, the duplicate El Grande Americanos approached the original one and had a small friendly facoeff with each other.

They then pointed fingers at each other, pulling off the popular Spiderman meme. Later in the night, El Grande was asked about his relationship with Dirty Dom. However, the star wrestler did not reveal anything. In the Judgement Day camp, Finn Balor wanted to know what the real intention of El Grande Americano was, considering he had been helping Dom every now and then.
