'We're taking it very slow' - Shawn Michaels addresses language barrier of Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia

Shawn Michaels recently spoke about the challenges of working with Stephanie Vaquer and Giulia. HBK felt there was indeed a language barrier which makes working with them challenging. While he said they were incredibly talented and possessed all the skills in the world, Shawn said things had to be dealt with slowly given their lack of proficiency in English.

Shawn claimed the need to make the duo understand what they wanted to communicate exactly. He said there was a need to make sure that the subtitles were translated well so that Giulia and Vaquer understood what the company needed from them exactly. He said the biggest challenge for him was to use the words properly.

"Making sure that they're understanding what you're conveying [is most important], especially when you're talking about those subtleties. Words mean different things in other languages. So making sure that I choose my words carefully with the two of them has been the biggest challenge," said Shawn Michaels.

He further added that given the language barrier, things were not happening at a quick pace. However, he credited the duo and claimed them to be unbelievably understanding. "We're taking it very slow because of that language barrier. They're being unbelievably understanding," added HBK.

Giulia and Stephanie have taken NXT by storm in a very short period. After Roxanne defended her title against Jaida Parker, Giulia made her NXT debut and climbed the ladder pretty quickly. She lost the title to Perez at CW Premiere, thanks to the interruption from Cora Jade. As Perez and Jade formed an alliance, Vaquer made her NXT debut and united with Giulia.

Since then, Vaquer and Giulia have been up against Cora and Perez. The duo has made a name for themselves and impressed the fans with their presence and in-ring skills. Given how much Shawn loves them, one can expect them to get a major push which could lead to them being shaped well before they hit the main roster.
