Santino Marella supported the idea of the WWE Superstars winning TNA titles and claimed that it helps the latter's elevation. The TNA General Manager related to his situation as a wrestler in the past and felt it elevates individuals. Marella claimed that it is a win-win situation for both NXT and TNA brands in their long-term partnership.

"I think that, from what I’ve noticed and how I relate it to myself as well, any time one of our titles goes to an NXT talent, I think all it really does is elevate the TNA talent," Marella said in his interview with Medd in the Morning. He continued and pressed on the same, noting the advantages of the partnership.

Marella added that the hungry TNA locker room would tend to become even more disciplined, focused, and vicious. He claimed that the wrestlers would individually get elevated, improve themselves, and bring the title back home where it naturally belongs.

"The end result is that we have gotten it back," - Santino Marella

"The already hungry locker room and the already hungry talent just change gears and become even more disciplined, more focused, more vicious, and it really forces them to elevate, to improve and get it back," Santino added in his statement. So far in TNA's partnership, only once has there been an NXT title taken to TNA by their talents.
