Sami Zayn has started to transform himself into Sami Uso to be available for Roman Reigns. In the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Sami was cheered by Jey Uso to regroup following the loss to Bron Breakker at SummerSlam. Sami went from having a sad face to a smile like he used to in his days as Sami Uso in The Bloodline.
Sami lost his Intercontinental Championship to Bron at SummerSlam. On Raw after Slam, the star wrestler was disappointed. He had a bit of a conversation with Ilja Dragunov who tried to console him. In turn, Sami gave him a piece of advice and hoped to see him as a bigger champion. That's when Jey Uso entered the scene to cheer Sami up.
Zayn was sad about him not being able to retain the title. Jey asked not to worry as he had a shot at Breakker next week on Raw. The Main event Jey said Sami would regain his title. He tickled Sami and made him laugh. The naturally funny side of Sami came out teasing a change in his character to team up with Roman Reigns.
The necessity of Sami Zayn in the Bloodline story
Sami is unlikely to beat Bron on Raw next week. It would be his last shot at the IC title making a way to a change in his character. Ilja Dragunov is likely to be the next challenger to Bron for the title. He will be taking on Breakker at Bash in Berlin. Sami will be going for the story of the Bloodline Civil War after doing his purpose as the IC Champion.
Zayn had a great solo run after the Bloodline removed him from their faction. He became the tag team champion with Kevin Owens and went on to headline many feuds. The most popular of them was against Gunther and Chad Gable. His presence in the Bloodline story is essential to keep the fun element going amid all the chaos.
