Roman Reigns brought the cricket flavor to Crown Jewel 2025 in Australia's Perth. The OTC used a cricket bat as a weapon in his match against Bronson Reed and hit him with a straight drive like shot. Roman acknowledged by raising the bat as the fans cheered the segment.

Reed and Roman faced each other in an Australian Street Fight and uses different types of weapons to hurt each other. Tables, chairs, and many other weapons were used in the match. The duo then approached a bag, which had a set of sporting items. Roman removed a cricket bat and even threw the rugby ball at Paul Heyman and Reed.

Roman hit Bronson with the cricket bat and threw him inside the ring. As the fans were excited, the OTC rose his bat and acknowledged the sequence. In the end, there were multiple interferences from Bron Breakker and the Usos. Bronson made the best use of several sequences and claimed the biggest win of his career.

Wade Barrett name drops Steve Smith and Ricky Ponting

When Roman used the cricket bat, the commentator, Wade Barrett, an English and a cricket fan, mentioned about some of the popular cricketers. As Roman got in a position to hit Reed, Barrett noted his stance similar to that of Steve Smith.

As Michael Cole wondered if it was a different Smith with the same name, Barrett switched the name and felt the stance was similar to that of Ricky Ponting. He also noted the fact that the Ashes is around the horizon and displayed his cricketing knowledge.
