LA Knight will be up against Tama Tonga in the upcoming match of 'King of the Ring'. Given the history of the Megastar with the Bloodline in the past, it promises to be a great quarterfinal match. The winner of this match will face the winner of the match between Randy Orton and Carmelo Hayes in the semifinal of the tournament.
There are three possible scenarios for the match:
The intervention of the Bloodline
Whenever you sign up for a match against any of the Bloodline members, it is unofficially the Bloodline Rules. Knight might well have to indirectly be a part of the 1 on 3 handicap match. In special cases, it could be a 1 on 4 or worse for Knit given the potential debut of Jacob Fatu.
The megastar has been having a good time in the last 10 months or so. Beating him would not be easy for someone like Tama Tonga. Yet, he can emerge victorious if Solo Sikoa and Tonga Loa come to his aid. That would also mean the Bloodline Rules and a clear message to the locker room.
LA Knight's exceptional win
There is also a chance of Knight winning fair and square. After all, he is over among the fans. The creative team would not mind having him win as the fans would be happy with it. If that is the case, there might not be an intervention from the Bloodline, which would also mean testing of Tonga's calibre.
It can prove to be a good match. However, there might also be a chance of Knight somehow managing to win, despite the interruption of the Bloodline. That would set up a great semifinal match against Randy Orton or Carmelo Hayes. That would mean a huge elevation of the Megastar.
Assistance from the Bloodline's nemesis
The Bloodline has made a lot of enemies for their aggression in the locker room. Some of them are a part of the King of the Ring and have a long-term story with the top faction of the Blue Brand. Last week on Smackdown, Randy issued a warning to Tonga saying that he would be coming for him in the near future.
There might be two cases here. Either him assisting Knight against the Bloodline, or Tonga qualifying for the semifinal against Orton. If the former happens, Randy would come for Knight's assistance. There are also chances of others like Baron Corbin and Kevin Owens coming to LA's aid.
The outcome of the match cannot be predicted easily. Both Knight and the Bloodline need this win. There is a better chance for the Bloodline to win the match as they have numbers in their favour and Orton has a match on the same night.
