Its true that the Hardy Boyz are undoubtedly the greatest tag team in the history of the WWE and wrestling professionally. Notably, the brothers have been the only duo to have won belts from WWE, AEW, WCW, and ROH. In addition, they have also won several tag titles in almost every major promotion worldwide. However, both superstars reunited with WWE in outstanding fashion at WrestleMania 33 in 2017 after a nearly eight-year break.

In the start, The Bar (Cesaro and Sheamus), Enzo Amore and Big Cass, and the defending champions Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows faced off for the Raw Tag Team Championships in a triple threat ladder match. However, the New Day, the hosts of WrestleMania, came to the ring as the main show began to start and announced that it would now be a fatal four-way game.

Jocularly wondering about the identity of this fourth team, Kofi, Big E, and Xavier Woods performed their usual gags. In addition, fans of WWE got something far superior to what was evidently expected—that they were going to present themselves.

The crowd in Orlando, Florida, became fascinated with the legendary Hardy Boyz song. However, Matt and Jeff entered the ring with a combination of TNA and vintage WWE Hardy moves.

The comeback was totally surprising and shocking for the WWE fraternity

Meanwhile, the comeback was totally surprising and shocking for the WWE fraternity, given the two brothers' lengthy break from the group and the fact they had recently faced The Young Bucks in a Ring of Honour tag title ladder.

The crowd's response and the comments made by Michael Cole, Byron Saxton, and Corey Graves—who may not have known the two were back—both showed just how unexpected their return was.

The Hardyz made a spectacular comeback, capturing the Raw tag titles and receiving Pro Wrestling§ for 2017. WWE met the desires of the fans and gave them everything they demanded. Notably, they became the only team to win all of WWE's tag championships (WWE, World, Raw, and Smackdown) before both of them left, as they later added a set of Smackdown belts to their resume.
