Lisa Marie Varon to Induct Mickie James into the TNA Hall of Fame

TNA Wrestling has officially announced that professional wrestling veteran Mickie James will be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame during Bound for Glory, scheduled to take place on October 12 in Lowell, Massachusetts. James, a five-time TNA Knockouts World Champion and multi-time WWE Women's Champion, is being recognized for her significant impact on women's wrestling and her longtime contributions to the company. She will be accompanied by The Beautiful People, Angelina Love, and Velvet Sky, who are also part of the 2025 Hall of Fame class.

Lisa Marie Varon confirmed as the Inductor

During a recent appearance on the Velvet Ropes with SoCal Val, Mickie James confirmed that Lisa Marie Varon will induct her into the TNA Hall of Fame. Varon, bets known to fans as Victoria in WWE and Tara in TNA, is a longtime friend and former rival of James.

James explained that she personally selected Varon for the honor, stating that they shared many historic moments together during the early stages of her "Hardcore Country" Persona. “You’re going to be pleased with this as someone who was pretty synonymous with the whole in production of hardcore country. I think that we made some incredible, historic moments together, and that would be our dear friend, Lisa Marie. I’ve asked her,” announced Jamie.

James revealed that she initially wanted to surprise Varon with the announcement, but later found out that TNA official Tommy Dreamer had already informed her. The two exchanged emotional messages after the news became public. Lisa Marie Varon had a successful run in the TNA between 2010 and 2013, and has won the Knockouts Championship five times. Although she still holds a WWE Legends contract, TNA confirmed her participation in the ceremony as part of its ongoing partnership with WWE.

The 2025 Hall of Fame ceremony will celebrate the women who helped define the Knockouts division. Since its establishment, the TNA Hall of Fame has honored legendary names such as Sting, Gail Kim, Awesome Kong, and Traci Brooks. Bound for Glory 2025 will also feature a TNA World Championship match between Trick Williams and Mike Santana.
