• Valkyria was crowned the inaugural champion on the January 13 episode of Raw, beating Dakota Kai

On the November 17 episode of Raw, Maxxine Dupri pulled off a shocking win over Becky Lynch to become the new Women's Intercontinental Champion. The Man had clinched the title from Lyra Valkyria on June 7 at Money in the Bank PLE. Valkyria was crowned the inaugural champion on the January 13 episode of Raw, beating Dakota Kai.

The concept of the Women's mid-card titles was introduced in WWE in NXT. The NXT Women's North American Championship was introduced in mid-2024. Kelani Jordan won the title in a 6-pack ladder match to become the first-ever NXT Women's North American Champion.

Following that, the main roster mid-card women's titles were introduced. The Women's US Title was introduced in late December. Chelsea Green became the first Women's US Champion after she beat Michin. A few weeks later, the Women's IC Title was introduced. Dakota Kai and Lyra qualified for the final after winning all of their qualifying matches.

In the final on the January 13 episode of the Red Brand, Valkyria overcame Kai to become the inaugural Women's IC Champion. She held on to the title for nearly half a year till The Man beat her at the MITB PLE on June 7. Much like Valkyria, Becky held on to the title for nearly half a year.

Her run was easily the best, as she had feuds with Lyra, Bayley, AJ Lee, Nikki Bella, and Maxxine. Eventually, she dropped the belt to Dupri on the November 17 episode of the Red Brand. So far, there have been only three Women's IC Title winners, as of November 2025.
