- All of the first-round matches in 'The Last Time is Now Tournament' have been completed, and eight wrestlers have made it to the quarterfinals

- Sheamus suffered an unfortunate injury on Raw, whose replacement has yet to be decided
All of the first-round matches in 'The Last Time is Now Tournament' have been completed, and eight wrestlers have made it to the quarterfinals. Gunther, Jey Uso, Rusev, LA Knight, Solo Sikoa, Carmelo Hayes, and Penta will take part in the following round. Sheamus suffered an unfortunate injury on Raw, whose replacement has yet to be decided.
Sheamus took on Shinsuke Nakamura in his first-round matchup, which he won via pinfall after delivering a Brogue Kick. However, a week later on Raw, he suffered an injury and has hence been ruled out. It is to be seen who will replace him in the tournament.

On the same night, Rusev overcame Damian Priest to qualify for the Final 8. On SmackDown later that week, Jey Uso beat The Miz to qualify for the following round. Likewise, LA Knight overcame a returning Zack Ryder, aka Matt Cardona, to make it to the quarterfinals. On Raw earlier this week, there were multiple returns.

For 'The Last Time is Now Tournament', Gunther returned with his old theme and took on Je'Von Evans in what has been the best match of the tournament so far to claim a win via submission. In the other match, Solo Sikoa faced a returning Dolph Ziggler, aka Nic Nemeth, and claimed a win over him via pinfall with a Samoan Spike.

On the latest episode of SmackDown, Carmelo Hayes was up against Bronson Reed. Despite odds being against him, Melo overvame Reed with an assist from Cody Rhodes and claimed a win via count outs. On the other hand, Penta delivered a Mexican Destroyer and beat Finn Balor to progress further.
