Kurt Angle recently spoke about Eddie Guerrero in his show named 'Kurt Angle Show'. The former WWE Superstar made a huge claim on the abilities of Eddie as an in-ring performer. Kurt claimed Guerrero to be one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. He felt that some of the fans and professionals in WWE did not acknowledge his greatness as a performer.

Being a great admirer of Guerrero, Angle said that the leg and hip injury of the late star did not help his career. He felt that Eddie was not the same wrestler he was in WCW as compared to when he was in WWE. While Kurt still believed that Eddie was better than everyone else on WWE, he claimed that the injury had taken a lot of potent from the star wrestler

"Eddie broke his leg and his hip when he was in WCW and when he came back, he was never the same even though he was better than everybody else still," said Kurt in his show. The former WWE Hall of Famer had a feud with the Ruthless Aggression era star and knew how good a wrestler he was, experiencing it himself in the ring working together in a lot of instances.

'I would have loved to wrestle Eddie before he broke his leg' - Kurt Angle

Angle felt that the injuries slowed the wrestler down by a fair margin. While Angle believed him to be one of the greats of all time, he felt wrestling Eddie without the injury would have been great. When asked by a fan regarding the top stars of the Ruthless Aggression Era, Kurt took the names of Rey Mysterio and John Cena, along with Eddie.

"He was never the same as he was in WCW and it slowed him down just a little bit but he still is the best of all time because that's how good he was," Kurt added. Kurt wished to face Guerrero before his leg and hip injuries. "I would have loved to wrestle Eddie before he broke his leg," Angle concluded in his show.
