Jey Uso hurt Sami Zayn with a massive reality check on WWE Raw. As Sami wanted to convince Jey to not get involved in the Bloodline Civil War, Jey let Sami know that he would not understand the reason behind his motive as he was not family. Sami was disappointed with it and nodded his head as if to agree to the fact.
Jimmy and Jey Uso had a small brawl with the Bloodline before Adam Pearce and the security guards intervening. Following the segment, Sami met Jey backstage for the first time in weeks. Sami and Jey interacted with each other like they usually do. Jey welcomed his mate with a smile like he usually does.

However, Jimmy Uso did not seem too happy to see Zayn. The star wrestler said he wanted to talk with Jey for a few minutes. As Jey agreed to it, Sami said he wanted to talk to him in person in Jimmy's absence. As Jey sent Jimmy away, Sami asked some major questions to Jey.

The honorary Uce asked is the Usos were back after what Jimmy did to Jey in the past. Sami Zayn wanted to know if Jey would go to Smackdown and fix things between him and Roman Reigns. Jey said Solo Sikoa was worse than Roman. Zayn tried to remind Jey of certain things.
The former IC Champion said Solo was not the one who mentally got into Jey's head for years. He said Solo was not the one who wanted Jey to prove his worth to the family every week. Jey wanted to know if Sami was on Sikoa's side.
The star wrestler confirmed that he was not on Solo's side, but on Jey's side. He felt it was not like choosing one of the lesser egos. Sami wanted Jey to not get involved in the Bloodline Civil War. As Sami reminded Jey that he stepped out of the Bloodline on his own, the latter said he would not understand as he was not family.
