There are rumours that Becky Lynch won't be joining WWE again anytime soon after her remarks about missing Wrestlemania 41. Since June 2024, when she lost to Liv Morgan in a steel cage match the night her contract with the business ended, she did not appear in WWE. Although she was nowhere to be seen, there was a lot of conjecture over her possible comeback during her absence, particularly when RAW appeared on Netflix.

Lynch will watch her husband, Seth Rollins, face Roman Reigns and CM Punk in the triple threat main event on the first night of WrestleMania by staying home instead.  Perhaps the seven-time world champion will be taking a lengthier vacation than expected. On Friday night, Lynch made an appearance as a guest on The Ultimate Improv Show in Los Angeles.

On the show he gave an update on her future with WWE. She said, "It's WrestleMania season, isn't it? Look, I'm not wrestling anymore... maybe one day but not right now. Well, my husband is!"

At WrestleMania 35, Lynch united the RAW and SmackDown Women's Championships in the main event, making her one of the company's biggest performers in 2019.   After a year-long hiatus owing to pregnancy, she returned for SummerSlam 2021, where she played a more experienced role, supporting up-and-coming artists like Tiffany Stratton and Lyra Valkyria.

On the first night of WrestleMania 41 many WWE fans anticipated that the Irish star would show up at Mania to add to a packed lineup that already included Rollins' bout.   However, her remarks imply that fans shouldn't anticipate seeing her anytime soon, as she didn't make an unexpected appearance at the Royal Rumble or while traveling to the Show of Shows.

Lynch worked on the independent circuit for several years before joining WWE in April 2013. In 2015, she played a significant role in the women's revolt before rising to fame. On the night Rollins started the programme with Brock Lesnar, she even joined forces with John Cena to host WrestleMania.
