Randy Orton said on "WWE SmackDown" that he will be participating in an open challenge at WrestleMania 41. The Viper made it obvious that he wasn't going to miss this one as he headed to the ring on an episode of WWE SmackDown. After acknowledging that he had no opponent for WrestleMania, Orton revealed that he had spent the whole week in Las Vegas making appearances alongside his spouse and taking in the scene.

Reflecting on his family's involvement with the event, Orton engaged the audience on a personal level. "My dad participated in the inaugural WrestleMania. Twenty years later, I made my debut at Mania at the Garden. After taking a pause, he delivered a big message. "This weekend, if I compete, it will be my twentieth appearance at WrestleMania." “I’m throwing it out to the universe.”  “I’ll be there on Sunday—boots tied, gear on, the right amount of baby oil on my skin. I’ll be ready to deliver and you will fall victim to the three most dangerous letters in sports entertainment… R-K-O,” Orton said.

Randy Orton vs Kevin Owens match was on cards

For his 20th appearance at the event, Orton was supposed to compete against Kevin Owens in a grudge match at the "Show of Shows". However, earlier this month, Owens declared that he would not be able to compete due to a neck injury. According to reports, Owens will need surgery and won't be able to return until far into the next year.

The legacy of Randy Orton is not over yet, and WrestleMania 41 gives him a big chance to carry his legacy in WWE. Although it is still unclear who will take on Orton in his challenge, Sikoa and Aldis are both viable choices based on recent events; Orton has already RKO'd Aldis twice, and Sikoa is currently unattached and only caught Orton's attention last week.
