Triple H recently spoke about the buffering challenges Netflix is facing. The Boxing bout between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson saw criticism from the fans due to the streaming quality of Netflix. As WWE Raw is set to stream on Netflix, Triple H was asked his opinion on the same. Hunter claimed he was fine with it as long as 50-60 million people tuned in to the show.
"If our first-night buffers and they come and say it was 60-70 million households watching, I’ll be good with the buffering," said Triple H in the interview. While it is not clear whether Hunter meant it casually or was serious about it, the fans were not happy with his statement.
Fans hoped for a better answer from the WWE CCO considering that he was answerable to millions of fans. They hoped it was a casual answer and that work would be done behind the scenes to get the issue resolved. Some of the best WWE Superstars like Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, John Cena, and others will be on the show.
'If it becomes about what I want, this show will die' - Triple H
Triple H was also asked if veterans texted him about today's way of Wrestling. He said the old guys could not accept the way Wrestling today is, compared to the past. He said the result of the product does not depend on him. Hunter claimed it was his job to provide what today's fans needed.
"The stuff was great in your generation and you learned it a certain way, but the kids today learn it a different way, and what they see and what they think is cool, then that's what you need to give them. I can't control that. I learned this 30 years the hard way," said Triple H.
The WWE CCO concluded by saying that if he had control of the show, it might not even exist. "It is no way shape or form about what I want. It's about what they want. If it becomes about what I want, this show will die," Triple H concluded.
