'I want to come...' - The Great Khali talks about his potential return to WWE

The Great Khali had a remarkable tenure in the WWE. Since his 2006 debut, he had involved in feuds with several celebrities, including John Cena and The Undertaker. Additionally, he held the title of World Heavyweight Champion. After competing at WrestleMania 30, Khali departed the WWE in 2024. Since then, he has appeared occasionally over the years. In 2021, he received his induction into the WWE Hall of Fame. 

In an interview with Rewind Recap Relive, The Great Khali talked about his time in the WWE. He was questioned in one highlight if he would be interested in perhaps joining WWE again. “I don’t think so, going back to WWE. I’m doing so many things. CW, I have a restaurant business. I have lots of commercials. So many events in India. I’m busy all the time. I don’t want to come back to WWE,” The Great Khali said.

The Great Khali likely to appear in Royal Rumble

The Greatest Royal Rumble in 2018 was the last time the WWE Hall of Famer competed, and he claims he has too much going on to think about making a permanent comeback. But it doesn't mean he's shutting the door entirely. Khali might be open to a quick appearance, but nothing permanent.

During the interview, he said  “I want to come and just say, ‘Hello. Hi.’ Check in a little bit. Royal Rumble. Not permanently. Permanently? No. I’m doing so many things.” Although a one-time Royal Rumble appearance is still possible, a full-fledged run is unlikely for the Great Khali, who last made an appearance in WWE at Superstar Spectacle 2023. 

The Great Khali defeated John Cena and The Undertaker, among other elite heavyweight champions, during his time in the WWE. He has won the World Heavyweight Championship and several other WWE titles. In WWE history, The Great Khali is an intriguing and special character.
