Chelsea Green was defeated by Zelina Vega and won the WWE US Championship. After this defeat, Chelsea Green said goodbye to her fans. She lost the title on SmackDown. In a brief statement following the defeat, Chelsea hinted that her WWE TV appearance on the Blue Brand would be her final one for some time.
Chelsea Green may be getting a vacation from TV after giving her goodbye message to the fans on X on Sunday morning. "Goodbye for now," Green wrote. "This is my farewell address." She posted a picture of the American flag in front of the White House. However, the exact meaning of this message from Green did not help WWE fans get into the details.
Even though Chelsea was not scheduled to fight at WrestleMania 41, she played a significant role in the massive media tour that preceded the "Showcase of the Immortals." She has also been on SmackDown for several months, so any extended vacation is well-earned. During the relaunched WWE Saturday Night's Main Event in December of last year, Green won a tournament and became the first-ever WWE Women's United States Champion.
Zelina Vega won the game with her signature move
The championship was won by Green over Michin in the finals, and she kept it until Friday night when she lost it. Piper Niven and Alba Fyre, Green's Secret Hervice, tried to intervene in the bout with Vega on SmackDown to support Green, but the referee ejected them from the ringside area. A Code Red into a pinning combo quickly won for Vega. Vega won her first WWE singles championship in the match.
She then posed with Triple H on WWE social media. Before being returned, Vega was also briefly released. Additionally, she teamed up with Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio to form the new LWO. She won the women's US title, however, and her singles career has taken off.
