Glasgow to host Friday Night Smackdown and Clash at the Castle in June

The company took to its official handle on social media and confirmed Glasgow as hosts for Friday Night Smackdown and Clash at the Castle in June 2024.

WWE has come up with a big announcement ahead of the WrestleMania weekend. The Stanford-based company took to their social media handles and confirmed that the Friday Night Smackdown and the Clash at the Castle will happen concurrently on the 14th and the 15th of June later this year. Both events are scheduled to take place in Glasgow Scotland.

First time in history, Glasgow will be hosting a major event. It will be the first WWE Premium live event held in Scotland. The tickets for the event are already on sale and the fans are excited about it. Many feel it was long due, as Scotland has some of the most passionate fans. The event is set to feature some of the biggest stars in WWE.

WWE released a poster to confirm the return of WWE to Scotland. Many popular Superstars are currently on the roster are featured in the poster. The likes of Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, and Drew McIntyre were in the poster from the men's division. Among the women's division, the likes of Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill are featured in the poster.

Last week in the Friday Night Smackdown, Jade made her debut in the main roster. What followed was her appearance in the main event. Bianca and Naomi were beaten up by the Damage Control, and Cargill came to their aid. She took down the trio of Asuka, Kairi Sane, and Dakota Kai to send a message. Following the event, a huge announcement came from the company. 

The Women's Tag team champions and Dakota Kai will be taking on the team of Cargill, Naomi, and Bianca at WrestleMania XL. In the Clash at the Castle, Drew McIntyre is set to return home. The Scottish Warrior would hope to impress the home crowd by having the World Heavyweight Championship title. Many believe that Drew might land in Glasgow as the world champion after winning it in front of a record crowd.
