On WWE Raw, Lynch cut a promo and went nostalgic about her time in Birmingham in 2013, where she was recognized in the Performance Center in the city. However, being the heel she was, the Women's IC Champion tried to get under the skin of the fans and used Ozzy's death as an opportunity to get heat.

"The only good thing that came out of here died a month ago. But in fairness to Ozzy Osbourne, he had the good sense to move to LA, a proper city. Because if I lived in Birmingham, I’d die too," said Becky in her promo. Since then, her promo received mixed opinions due to Ozzy's death.

Ozzy's daughter, Kelly Osbourne, took to Instagram and expressed her disappointment over the promo. The popular actress regarded Becky as a disrespectful dirtbag and claimed the citizens of the city would not care if she were on fire. The British singer claimed it was shameful on WWE's part to allow such a thing to be said about her father.

"You are a disrespectful dirtbag! Birmingham would not p*** on you if you were on fire. Shame on the WWE for allowing such things to be said about my father and his home!" wrote Kelly on her Instagram story. Fans have been divided on Becky's controversial promo, with some supporting her and others backing Kelly in this regard.
