The Miz

The Miz was disappointed with the fans, who did not demand a match for him with John Cena, like they did with AJ Styles and others. It might be a good opportunity for him to earn it.

Rusev

Rusev had a good feud with Cena in 2015 which revolved around the US Title. With the former US Champion having lost an opportunity to win the IC Title, he would be looking to retire Cena.

Solo Sikoa

Solo Sikoa claimed a win against John at the WWE Crown Jewel 2023. Half a year later at WrestleMania, Cena got revenge by taking him out to even the odds in the Main Event of Night 2. Solo might look to address the issue.

Sheamus

Sheamus was put over by Cena very early in his career in the PG Era when he became one of the fastest Superstars to win a world title. Since then, they didn't wrestle much.

LA Knight

LA Knight and Cena shared some fine moments with each other in 2023 and even had a tag team match against Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. Knight could get the support from the fans to retire Cena.

Drew McIntyre

Drew McIntyre has repeatedly taken shots at Cena since the start of the retirement tour. It would make a good case for the Scottish Warrior to win the tournament and retire him.

Penta

Penta has been one of the most 'over' wrestlers on Raw. In his promo, Cena mentioned that he might face some wrestlers he has never wrestled against, which could've hinted Penta.

Carmelo Hayes

Carmelo Hayes is one of the highly talented Superstars and might benefit a lot by having a match with Cena. However, he is stuck in the feud with The Miz and is unlikely to make the cut.

Bronson Reed

Bronson Reed claimed the biggest win of his career at the WWE Crown Jewel 2025, where he beat Roman Reigns. His momentum can be continued by giving a bigger push like beating Cena.

Gunther

Gunther is reported to be the one to retire the Leader of the Cenation Army. The Ring General has been out of action since SummerSlam and might return to compete in the tournament.

Dominik Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio is sure to feature in the star wrestler's retirement tour in one or more of his last few dates. There is a good chance of them having a match at the Survivor Series for the IC Title. If that doesn't happen, Dom might be the one to retire the 17-time world champion.
