The WWE Survivor Series War Games turned out to be a good event. However, it had a maxed opinion from the fans as many expected some of the massive returns. Some of the top stars of the company who have been out of action for a long time were expected to return to the PLE. But they're not showing up made the fans think it was a lacklustre event.

The main event of the night featured the OG Bloodline vs Bloodline 2.0. After Roman Reigns pinned Solo Sikoa to claim a win for the former, there was an extended cut of about 4 to 5 minutes. Many thought it was given to hype the big returns. But to their surprise, no return happened. It did not go well with the fans who expected a better show from Triple H.

3. Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair has been out of action for nearly a year now. The 14-time world champion suffered a torn meniscus and has been striving hard to return to action. As Jade Cargill got ruled out of the Women's War Games match, many anticipated Flair to be her replacement. In the end, Bayley turned out to be her replacement.

But fans hoped to see the Queen back at the Survivor Series. Last year at the War Games, she was a part of the team featuring herself, Becky Lynch, Bianca Belair, and Shotzi. After claiming a win for her side, Flair featured on Smackdown later that week and suffered an injury. It led to her being out of action for nearly a year.

2. Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar's return has had mixed opinions from the fans. While some are eagerly waiting for his return, others are doubtful of it given the fact that his name has come up in Janel Grant's lawsuit against Vince McMahon. However, many were hopeful of his return, especially considering Wiseman teasing his potential betrayal against the OTC.

However, to much disappointment from the fans, Brock did not return. His last appearance in WWE was at Summerslam 2023. Brock put Cody over and was on a hiatus. Reports suggested that he was set to return at the Men's Royal Rumble 2024. But his name coming up in the lawsuit meant a delayed return of the Beast since then.

1. The Rock

The Rock returned at WWE Bad Blood for the first time since Raw after Mania. He had a cryptic message for the trio of Jimmy Uso, Roman Reigns, and Cody Rhodes. While many expected him to feature on Smackdown regularly, The final boss did not make any appearance after his return to Bad Blood. A big reason for it was the promotional activity for his movie 'Moana'.

However, many felt the Survivor Series War Games would witness his appearance. After all, the fight for the Head of the Table was an original concept for Roman and The Rock. Despite the promotional schedule for Moana, fans expected The Rock to return and tease his match with Roman. But to their disappointment, the final boss did not show up.
