With Vijay Hazare Trophy matches likely to be shifted to Chinnaswamy, Virat Kohli could be seen playing at the stadium once again.
Rishabh Pant is part of Delhi’s expanded Vijay Hazare squad and could feature alongside Kohli if matches are moved from Alur to Bengaluru.
KSCA is planning a gradual return of cricket at Chinnaswamy, starting with domestic matches before focusing on hosting IPL fixtures.
For domestic games, only 2000 to 3000 spectators may be allowed, with selected stands opened and safety recommendations followed closely.
With discussions underway and safety steps in place, Bengaluru is expected to remain part of the IPL calendar, raising hopes of RCB playing at Chinnaswamy again in 2026.
