Rohit Sharma’s time at the top of the ICC ODI batting rankings has ended after a recent update.
Daryl Mitchell moved past Rohit after scoring a brilliant century against West Indies, pushing him down from the No.1 spot.
Rohit had held the top position thanks to strong ODI form, but Mitchell’s consistent run and latest hundred shifted the rankings.
Mitchell becomes only the second New Zealander ever to reach the No.1 ODI batter ranking, joining Glenn Turner from 1979.
Pakistan’s Rizwan and Fakhar rise in ODI batting, while Abrar Ahmed and Haris Rauf make big jumps among ODI bowlers.
In Tests, Bavuma enters the top five, while Bumrah stays No.1. In T20Is, New Zealand and Pakistan players show strong improvements.
