Kuldeep Yadav is set to make a comeback for the third ODI against Australia after missing the first two matches. He has 181 wickets in 113 ODIs so far.
Australia have already sealed the series 2-0 after wins in Perth and Adelaide. India, under Shubman Gill’s captaincy, will look to win at least one match in Sydney.
Kuldeep might come in for either Washington Sundar or Nitish Kumar Reddy. Reddy struggled with both bat and ball, while Sundar took two wickets but was expensive.
Along with Kuldeep, pacer Prasidh Krishna could also be included in the XI. He is likely to replace Harshit Rana, who conceded 59 runs in Adelaide.
Despite Virat Kohli’s poor form, India are unlikely to change their batting order. Yashasvi Jaiswal might have to wait for another chance.
