KL Rahul said Rishabh Pant is ready for ODIs again and can even be picked as a specialist batter if needed.
Pant has missed a lot of cricket after his car accident and injuries, which kept him away from the ODI format for over a year.
Rahul shared that Pant has always been a key player and everyone knows what he can do, but he had to wait as the team’s batting was doing well.
Rahul said fans will know on match day whether he or Pant keeps wickets in the first ODI.
Rahul added that Pant is good enough to play even without keeping, but if he is in the XI, he will take the gloves.
The first ODI will be played in Ranchi, where Pant could make his ODI comeback after two years.
