Pat Cummins will miss the pink-ball Test in Brisbane as Australia announces an unchanged 14-member squad.
Steve Smith, who led Australia to an eight-wicket win in the first Test, will continue as captain with the team leading 1–0.
Cummins will still travel to Brisbane to continue training and is likely to return for the Adelaide Test starting December 17.
With Cummins and Hazlewood out, Brendan Doggett—fresh from a five-wicket haul—will partner Mitchell Starc and Scott Boland.
Usman Khawaja, who had back spasms in the first Test, stays in the squad but needs to clear a fitness test before December 4.
