Tennis star Jannik Sinner is one of the best players in the current era. The world number one has already staged his comeback on the official courts, where he was seen practising with Jack Draper in Monte Carlo to begin his preparation for the upcoming ATP tournaments.
The world number one had a great start to the year as he won the Australian Open 2025 after a stellar win over Alexander Zverev in the final showdown. Thereafter, he opted out of the ABN AMRO Open 2025, citing fatigue reasons. Tennis sensation Carlos Alcaraz wins the tournament in Sinner's absence.
However, his stint was cut short after he suffered a three-month suspension ban for his doping tests from last year. The 23-year-old star player's ban started on February 9, and he seems to be patiently waiting for his comeback.
The star player has missed the Qatar Open 2025, Indian Wells 2025, Miami Open 2025, Monte Carlo Masters 2025, and the ongoing Barcelona Open 2025 and will be missing the upcoming Mutua Madrid Open 2025 until his suspension is over on May 4.

His suspension is set to conclude on May 4, just in time for him to receive a rousing reception at his home turf, the Rome Masters in Italy. Sinner is set to action at the third ATP Masters 1000 tournament on clay, which will be run from May 7-18 in Rome.
Jannik Sinner aims to extend his top ATP rankings!
Jannik Sinner will be looking to extend his world's number-one streak. Notably, Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz failed to come out on top, though Alcaraz took the new world number two spot after his Monte Carlo Masters 2025 win.
Tennis star Jannik Sinner aims to win the French Open 2025, the second Grand Slam of the year after his Australian Open win. The Italian star is likely to be the top seed at the French Open 2025. Star player Carlos Alcaraz will be aiming to come out on top. However, for the same, Carlos Alcaraz needs to win the Barcelona Open and the Madrid Open. Despite that, Italian will have a 700-point lead.
