The Cincinnati Open has already given us some great results and dramatic moments. After all, this is an ATP/WTA 1000 tournament where we are getting to see some of the biggest players on the big stage. We have seen some thrilling matches in this tournament as well which have given us some great moments already. We hope that we keep getting to see matches like these in the future as well.

The match that kept us on our toes was between one of the high-ranked players Hubert Hurkacz and Yoshihito Nishioka. This match already started with the Japanese giving the Polish a scare during the match by winning the first set, however, it was Hurkacz who came out victorious in this game winning the second round match and going through to the next round of the tournament. This was no doubt a great match which turned slightly ugly towards the end eventually.

Nishikoa goes crazy

There is no doubt that Nishikoa gave his best in this game and made sure that this was a tougher match than it turned out to be. However, the third set saw him lose all respect as he lost his calm and started angrily launching balls at the crowd. The chair umpire also gave him a warning after this incident, but that did not stop him as he continued his unethical practice once again and on this occasion went on to get a game penalty. Everyone thought that Nishioka went crazy in the third set and was met with a barrage of boos by the fans as well.

This is what made a match that was thrilling for the fans and the people into one of the ugliest games we have ever seen. These antics from Nishioka did not result in any good happening as well since he went on to lose the set by a huge margin of 6-1 as well. It is safe to say that the amount of respect the Japanese player had earned in the first two sets lost it all in the third and final set.
