The Paris Olympic games are something all of us have been looking forward to this season, especially for the tennis superstars in the mix. There are some upcoming stars and certified legends who will be part of this global event which will be an honor for all of us. We will get to see the likes of Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev who will be the young and upcoming stars of the game in the tournament, but there will also be some legends of the game who will most likely make their last appearance in this event.

One of the biggest legends of the game is the King of Clay Rafael Nadal, who might be featuring in his last Olympic event this season. It has been a great career for the Spanish legend as he has not only gone on to win 22 Grand Slam titles but also has two Olympic gold medals to his name in 2008 and 2016. This will once again be a tournament to look forward to and we all will want to see El Nino perform for perhaps the last time in one of the venues where he has enjoyed a lot of success.

Rafa the Olympic torchbearer

It was already an honour to see Rafa part of the Olympics and representing Spain this season, but there was also the need to honour him for giving us some great moments in the World of Sports. This is exactly what the people did as he went on to become the torchbearer for this event in the opening ceremony. The Torch was passed on by another legendary figure in the form of Zinedine Zidane. This was a great moment to see Nadal get this honour in front of millions of people and we can see he was very excited to be holding the torch in his hands.

This was not only overwhelming but also an emotional moment for us as this could be the last time we see him in this mega event. The cheers from the people show us how much love there is for the former World number one who has consistently given us great matches and won major tournaments by beating the best in the past. This also gives us a glimpse that the legacy of the great athlete will always stay alive and we are thankful for what he has done for the world of sports.
