WATCH: Novak Djokovic interacts with a young fan after first round match in Wimbledon

This has been an impressive Wimbledon tournament where we are already introduced to a lot of drama and action featuring some great players. One of the players we were excited to see was Serbian living legend Novak Djokovic who is a 7-time Wimbledon winner and this season would be his 19th appearance in the tournament. We all were looking forward to witnessing him play in this tournament once again.

Even though the 24-time Grand Slam winner had just come back from knee surgery after the Roland Garros, Djokovic was still considered one of the favourites to win this tournament. Novak Djokovic was still a legendary figure in the game and still had a lot of support behind him. He even started his tournament well by getting a comfortable straight-set victory over Vit Kopriva in the first round of the tournament as well. Overall it was great to see him perform that well.

Novak puts a smile on a young fan

This was a great match to witness where it barely looked like Djokovic was just coming out of injury and looked really good in this match as he achieved another straight victory. After the game, he also went to autograph the giant tennis balls for a young fan who was really excited to see him. This was a great sight to see where Djokovic showed he is not only a legend on the court, but off the court as well. It was great to see him interact with a child who seemed to be a big fan of the former World Number 1.

This was a rare sight to see as we have known Novak Djokovic as one of the most passionate and aggressive individuals in the game and to see him smiling and having a conversation with a little boy was something to marvel at. We all will be hoping that he continues his great form in the next few and wins his 8th Wimbledon title this season.
