The tennis world went crazy during the Belgrade Open, as Serbian legend and 24-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic handled the trophy duties. The aura of the Paris Olympics gold medalist is still alive as he handed over the trophy to Canadian star Denis Shapalov, who won the second ATP title of his career.
The ATP season is in its final stages and we have seen some talented players throughout the tournaments. However, there are some players who we are missing at the back end of the season and one of them is Novak Djokovic who has withdrawn from the Paris Masters and the ATP Finals. Despite the fall in the rankings, his presence is still felt and the people are still waiting for him to return the next season.

Novak handling trophy duties
The ATP Finals will be the main focus for everyone, but there are still some tournaments among the lower-ranked players that are yet to unfold. The Belgrade Open was one of the tournaments where we saw the great performance of Dennis Shapalov who won his 2nd ATP Title and was handed the trophy by Djokovic himself. This was also the hometown of the legend and we could straight away hear the cheers from the crowd for him as well. This was also a proud moment for Shapalov to receive the trophy from one of the biggest legends in the game.
