WATCH: Joao Fonseca, Holger Rune and Lorenzo Musetti test their knowledge of Footballers players

During a funny segment on the Argentina Open tennis players Holger Rune, Joao Fonseca, and Lorenzo Musetti were shown pictures of Argentina football players and were questioned to answer all ten players. Many football legends from Argentina like Lionel Messi, Diego Maradona, Angel Di Maria, etc

Joao Fonseca was the only player who was named the most Argentine player. At the end of the video, Joao Fonseca could answer five players while Holger Rune could answer only Lionel Messi and Diego Maradona who have won the FIFA World Cup for Argentina. Lorenzo Musetti could answer only young players from the Argentina team.

Joao Fonseca won Argentine Open 

The Argentine Open victory has brought Brazilian Joao Fonseca, one of the game's most promising tennis players, to the list of well-known individuals. In the first round of the Australian Open, Fonseca shocked everyone by defeating Russian Andrey Rublev, who was ranked ninth in the world, demonstrating his potential to be one of the top tennis players in 2025. He went on to win the ATP Title and was the tenth youngest player to do it after winning the Argentina Open. 

During an incredible run in which he defeated home favourites, outlasted battle-hardened veterans, and survived match points, Fonseca made a strong statement to the tennis world. He is currently one of the youngest ATP champions since 1990, joining tennis greats like Lleyton Hewitt, Andrei Medvedev, Kei Nishikori, Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz, and Michael Chang at the age of just 18 years, 5 months, and 26 days.

He echoes the ascent of previous adolescent champions like Rafael Nadal and Alcaraz with his bold style, resilience under duress, and talent for stepping up in crucial situations. Furthermore, with a new tennis sensation now based in Brazil, the future appears to be extremely promising.
