The Grand Slam week so far has given us some great matches so far, but there are always only a few favorites in the competition. One this occasion one of the biggest stars in the US Open so far has been Italian sensation Jannik Sinner. He has had one of the best seasons this year and it has been a treat to watch him give some great performances in this tournament as well.
Though there is still a long way to go in the tournament for Jannik Sinner, he has still been impressing us with some great tennis and was set to play against another yound American player in Alex Michelsen. On paper this seemed like an easy game for The World number one, but we must not forget that we have seen teenagers emerge in big tournaments like this. However nothing takes away from the fact that Sinner was the player who most of the fans in the tennis world were backing.
Sinner gets and another easy win
Sinner has been one of the big player players to watch out for in the US Open and he proved it in the start itself by winning the first set by a margin of 6-4. The second set was dominated by him once again where he secures a bagel winning 6 games in a row and was only one set away from victory. The last and final set also went in favor of the World number 1 and he easily make it through to the third round of the competition. This is now Sinner's 50th win of the season and he has done it in style.

This was another one sided victory where we saw complete dominance from Sinner who once again proved himslef why he is among the top ranked players in the tournament. This has been another tournament where we have seen some great piece of tennis from the young Italian and has moved one more step closer to his second Grand Slam title and we hope to see the same consistency from him.
