The moment that caught our attention was way back in 2024, when Maria Sharapova at the age of just 17 beat the legendary Serena Williams to get her hands on her first-ever Wimbledon title. This was one of the most shocking moments that gave birth to one of the legends of the game that we went on to remember for generations. Sharapova and the phone call

In the end, it was a sigh of relief that her mother eventually witnessed her daughter creating history. This failed phone call had its advantages as well, as she eventually after a few weeks got a deal with Motorolla. It is safe to say that alls well that ends well for the Russian superstar.
