The Canadian Open has been a great tournament to look forward to and though there are some big stars in the game we are also looking forward to some of the players who are trying to get back to some form in the tournament as well. There are some great players who are yet to win some big titles this season and one of them is Bulgarian player Grigor Dimitrov. This tournament will be something that the top 10 ranked player will be looking forward to at the start of the Hard court season.

In fact Grigor Dimitrov is the 7 seeded player in the tournament and has had a great start to the tournament where he beat Hijikata in the second round in straight sets. This sends Dimitrov straight into the round of 16 and he will be looking forward to continue the great performance. Dimitrov did have a great match, but there was something which happened before this match which is slightly painful for any human being.

Dimitrov suffers big blow to the groin

There is no doubt that Dimitrov has performed well in his first game, but will not be happy with what happened in the warmup before the match. During the Warmup Dimitrov was struck in a place which could literally put any man down. The Bulgarian suffered a blow to the groin and was straight away in pain. There is no doubt that we can see the funny side of it but it does not take away the pain the might have felt when he suffered that hit during the warmups which he did not expect at all.

Watch the video below-

Knowing that he suffered that big blow we should appreaciate the way he came back in the match and got a dominant victory in the match. This was a real ouch moment that could still have caused more damage than it did and we are happy to know that he is alive and well even after the incident.
