The tennis sensation has stormed to the final showdown after defeating Nakashima with a scoreline of 6-4, 7-6 (3). The star player has won the title here in 2023 and will be looking to once again etch his name in the history books.
The star player had a great start to the game, winning the first set. The two ATP stars indulged in long rallies and hit some outrageous shots, but it was Tiafoe who took the lead after grabbing the opening set.
Tiafoe continued his scintillating display in the second set of the game but faced stern competition from Nakashima as they took this game into a tiebreaker. The duo fought hard and dominated their pace, but once it was the 2023 Houston Champion that snatched the second set to storm into the final showdown.

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old star has opened up about his emotions after storming into the summit clash. Tiafoe revealed that he played extremely well in the semi-final thriller, which allowed him to dominate his pace.
The American star revealed that they faced difficulty while holding serve due to extremely windy conditions in the court. The former world number ten was ecstatic after delivering a sensational performance in his first clay tournament.
"I thought I played pretty well tonight. Tough, tough conditions. Really tough winds on this side of the court; we were both struggling to hold serve. But I thought I came out with a great energy and it's again just having fun out here and playing really well my first tournament on clay. I really love playing here in Houston," Frances Tiafoe said after the win.
