Wimbledon 2024 is in its final few games and there are still some big games to come up. We are right now in the final few quarter-final matches which took place today. These are the big matches which will take the players closer and closer to the trophy. There are still some big matches we have seen on this day and we have enjoyed every second of it.
The game to look forward to today was between World number 4 Elena Rybakina and Ukrainian talent Elina Svitolina who were playing in their 5th match at Wimbledon in the the quarter finals. This was a matchup everyone was looking forward to and we have had a great time watching these two players compete in the past. These two have had some great matches going into this game as well and we all have been eager to watch them play. It would be interesting to see which of them would make it to the all-important semi-finals.
Rybakina blazes through to Semi's
The first set itself saw Rybakina dominating Elina Svitolina and getting ahead in the game. Rybakina won the set by a margin of 6-3 and put pressure on the Ukrainian straight away. The second set was the same story for Svitolina as she went to win it by a margin of 6-2 and qualified for her second Wimbledon semi-final. This was a one-sided contest where the Kazakhstani came out on top once again and is still alive in the Grand Slam tournament.

This was another amazing performance by Rybakina as she will keep her chances alive for her second Wimbledon title. She is one of the biggest favourites in the event and this will give her even more confidence going forward. She will now have her eyes on the finals going into her semi-final match tomorrow. We hope that the World number 4 impresses us again like she has done today against one of her biggest rivals in the game.
