The Estoril Open might not be one of the most iconic clay season tournaments, but there is still a fair share of talented players featuring in the tournament. There are still players like Dominic Thiem and Roberto Bautista Agut who are trying to get back to their best after a long break from tennis. This is the opportunity for some of these players to come up the rankings and get back to business in this clay season which is going on.

One of the players who people were looking forward to seeing performing this season was 25-year-old Danish Casper Ruud. Ruud might not have the type of game that suits the game today. He is known mostly as a productive counter-attacking player with accuracy rather than a powerful baseliner. This did not stop him from winning 10 ATP titles and making it to 3 grand slam finals. Ruud was also the 2nd ranked player in the ATP rankings two years ago.

During the game, there was a drone which was interrupting the match. Ruud was seen trying to knock the drone down. This was a hilarious moment for the fans seeing Ruud try his best to shoot down the drone.
