The day has come when we finally get to see the big tennis players perform on the day. There was a lot of high expectations from the players, especially in the sport of Tennis this season. One of the players who has been on top this season is Carlos Alcaraz himself. The Spaniard has already won two Grand Slams this season and was set to play in the Olympic games for the first time.

Carlos Alcaraz was up against Lebanon's Hady Habib, who has recently turned professional. This was set to be another easy game on paper where the World number 3 looked like the favorite once again. Alcaraz was high in confidence and the young 21-year-old also seemed excited to play in the global event. There were a lot of expectations from the Spaniard to get a victory in this first-round match.

Alcaraz is always known to start strong and that is exactly what he did in this match. The Spaniard was once again at his dominant best in the first set winning it by a score of 6-3. This was straight away looking like Alcaraz's game straight away with just one more set to win. The second set of the match also went in favor of the 4-time Grand Slam winner as he comfortably made it through to round 2 of the Paris Olympics 2024. This was a great start to the young Spanird's Olympic debut.

This was another game where he has given us a glimpse of why he is one of the best players on clay in this era.
