Tennis star Aryna Sabalenka cannot stop herself from smiling after an interviewer asks about one of the fans calling Jannik Sinner the handsome guy like her ahead of the Italian Open 2025. This forthcoming ATP and WTA 1000 Masters marks Sinner's comeback after his three-month doping ban. He was last seen in action in the Australian Open 2025 and indulged in a three-month doping ban from February 9 and served the period till May 4.

Jannik Sinner was spotted practicing with star player Jiri Lehecka in his practice session, and there were a lot of fans standing in a queue to witness the world number one's stellar return to the court after his doping ban. However, one of the fans has compared Sinner's beauty with Aryna Sabalenka's.

Thereafter, the interviewer later brought this topic to the world number one's attention during her press conference and asked about the same. This question from the reporter has left Aryna Sabalenka in splits, and the Belarusian star playfully showcased her gratitude towards the Italian people for hailing her beauty.

"I mean I always felt connected to Italy to be honest, so grazie mille (a thousand thanks). I don't know what to say on that. Thank you."

Aryna Sabalenka opens up on Jannik Sinner's ban

Meanwhile, the 27-year-old tennis player has shared her thoughts about Jannik Sinner's ban. The three-time major champion has talked about how Sinner's suspension has affected her.

"Seeing how everything works, I am very cautious about everything I consume. I've reached a point where I won't even leave a glass I'm drinking from unattended. I have this notion that if someone makes a mistake or if I accidentally use a cream containing a banned substance, I will be the one to pay the price. I fear how the system operates; I don't know how I can trust it," Sabalenka said.
