The Monte Carlo Masters has finally begun with some great matches in the first round of the game. There have already been some great matches and surprises that we can never expect in the tournament. The likes of Sumit Nagal qualifying after beating top-ranked and seeded players in the qualifiers and seeing former 2020 US Open winner Dominic Thiem crash out of the tournament were some of the biggest shockers of the season.

The match between two top 20 ATP-ranked players Alexander Bublik and Borna Coric was supposed to be an intense game, but it turned out to be a one-sided battle where Coric got the better of Bublik in 2 straight sets. Coric was all over Bublik in the game, winning both sets 6-1 and breaking the service 6 times in the entire match. It was not the best of games for the 26-year-old Kazkhstani, but he still made sure he had some fun even during the terrible game.

Ball girl replacing Bublik

During the game, Bublik was having an interaction with the ball kid first giving her one of his racquets. The girl was nervous and did not know what was happening at first. Bublik then instructed her to serve in the match. The ball kid tried her best but unfortunately could not get the ball past the net in her two attempts. Bublik still high-fived the girl for her effort to try and serve past Coric in the game. This was one of the most funny and heartfelt moments you will ever see in the game of tennis.

This not only shows the great sportsmanship which Bublick has portrayed, but also the childlike attitude which helped him interact with the ball girl and still be in a joyful mood even though the game is not going his way. Bublik might have lost the game completely, but he still won a lot of hearts with this sweet gesture in one of the most iconic ATP tournaments. It is great to see Bublik exit the tournament in a happy moment which he created in the middle of the game. This will inspire everyone to enjoy the game of tennis.
